I spent my youth in the greater Boston area before moving to Connecticut at the age of 25 to finish my training as a physician. I have enjoyed living and working here in the New Haven area ever since.
My interest in art goes back to childhood with experimentation in all forms of creativity. Working in glass has been a passion now for 40 years, primarily with stained glass copper foiling technique. While working full time as a physician, my passion for glass in the form of Tiffany styled lamps, boxes and frames has grown more intense. It was only in the last few years that I began to explore the realm of “hot glass”.
This fascinating blend of engineering, physical chemistry and art has totally captivated me. Now in retirement I can finally devote my full time to furthering the quest of harnessing the unique qualities of glass through fusion and heat. I hope you enjoy the pieces I have created and will continue to share my enthusiasm for this art form as I explore it further. Please stop by and visit during one of my upcoming shows. Thanks for visiting.
